Principal Investigator Biographies
Lawrence T Nielsen
Larry is vice president of Microanalytics Instrumentation
Co. He is involved with all aspects of aroma, odor and flavor analysis
and has worked with organoleptic and mass spectrometric analysis most of
his career. After graduate school, Larry spent 15 years teaching and
working in the chemical industry in Brazil.
Then in the US, he worked as an analytical chemist at the
Union Camp Corporate R & D Center mainly on projects involving paper,
chemicals, flavors and fragrances. Larry has a BS and MS in Chemistry
from Denver University.
