Model 150 Vinyl Chloride Monomer Purity
Assay System
This system
combines the separation capabilities of multidimensional GC with the selectivity
of single and series-connected PLOT columns for the analysis of trace impurities
in polymer grade vinyl chloride monomer (VCM). This instrument is based upon a system developed by Don Wright, R&D
director for Microanalytics, and specified in the ASTM D-5507-99 methodology.
This latest instrument revision eliminates the external automated
vaporizing injector (as shown above) and replaces it with a fully integrated
design constructed directly into the Model 6890 GC valve oven. For
non-6890 GCs, the external automated vaporizing injector is utilized.
